The fact of the matter is that the whole concept of you losing weight is very firmly fixed on the metabolism of your body and how your metabolism functions can make a big difference to what you may or may not lose in body weight.

So what is metabolism and how does this and drinking water help me to lose weight, I hear you say.

Well although there are many different forms of metabolism that occur in your body the one that affects your storage of fat is the one that we are mainly concerned with and this involves your liver which among many other functions also controls the amount of stored fat that is retained in your body or converted to energy to help you manage all the tasks that you perform in your day to day life.

The problem that may well affect you and is associated with your liver is that among it’s duties in keeping you functioning properly everyday is that it also has to help out your kidneys if they are not performing correctly and as your kidneys require a plentiful supply of water to function correctly the liver has to come to their aid and help them out with their work as well as it’s own.

Of course when this happens to the liver then it is pushed to it’s maximum and can’t perform as well as it should at metabolising your body fat and so this can result in excess fat being stored on your body rather than being converted to energy.

By drinking sufficient amounts of fresh water everyday you are aiding your body and its organs to perform correctly and this flushing out experience will not only help you in your quest to lose weight but also enrich you overall sense of wellness.

So the answer to the question does water help you lose weight is that it definitely can do so when you also control what foods you eat plus do some regular exercise.
